Yellowstone Recovery's Mission Statement
Yellowstone is a family of recovery homes, Yellowstone Recovery of California (YROC), which help both women and men who want long-term sobriety, based on the
12-step recovery program.
Yellowstone provides residents with a safe, supportive environment, a clean and sober living experience based on sobriety and a new way of living without drugs or alcohol.
Our volunteers and staff counselors, therapists and court liaisons are fully available to all Yellowstone residents on a
sliding scale basis.
We Have has introduced the
12-step program of recovery to more than 5000 residents suffering from alcoholism
and/or drug addiction.
History of Yellowstone Recovery
Our house was founded originally to provide a place and plan for indigent women who suffer from the disease of alcoholism and/or drug addiction. Our primary purpose is to help them stay sober. Currently, we have a one-year program expanded into five additional houses which serve women and men in their first steps in recovery.
Yellowstone is a first-step house dedicated to helping alcoholics and addicts begin their journey toward recovery. Transitional and long-term sobriety is also available in our additional homes.
During their 10- to 30-day stay, Yellowstone residents find, at little or no charge, food, shelter, counseling, and AA's 12-step Program of Recovery.
For the next 11 months we help them build a new way of living in one of our additional homes.
